Design thinking for sustainabilityDesign thinking is a human-centred approach to innovation that draws fromthe designer%u2019s toolkit to integrate the needs of people, the possibilities oftechnology, and the requirements for business success. At the same time,design thinking tries to answer the question of how we satisfy the needs of thepresent without compromising the future by bringing prosperity to all people,communities, and the planet and reducing the impact on limited resources (Fig.3.2.4).
